Gabriella one of the top models in South African fashion, is also active in Bollywood. She is a huge fan of Shahrukh Khan and wanted to actually meet him so that she could teach him how to make 'laal kurma'. It seems that Gabriella, the finalist in IPL2's relation with Lalit Modi soured and he had exchanged mails with minister of state for external affairs Tharoor to make sure that she does not get her visa renewed. Why he wanted to do it, the reason is not clear and Tharoor, according to reports didnt want to stop her visa. It is believed that Gabriella was a close friend of Lalit Modi.
In fact, she had even planned to give away the prize money for charity. The noble intention, in this case, was nixed. Internet posts show her loss was also mourned.
