Kareena Kapoor beats Bipasha and Katrina Kaif in Race

Yes, the sexy Kareena Kapoor has beaten the ravishing Katrina Kaif and the voluptuous Bipasha Basu in the race to Race 2. What we mean, is Kareena Kapoor will be part of the Race sequel or Race 2. Abbas-Mustaan's Race, produced by Tips was one of the biggest grossers of 2008.

The team of Race, the producers, director-duo, Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kappoor are quite positive about making a thrilling sequel to Race. Though the male stars remain intact, it is believed Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif will no longer be there in the sequel. Instead Saif's girlfriend Kareena will replace Katrina Kaif in Race 2. According to inside sources, the story will be different but the characters will remain the same.

Saif Ali Khan adds, "I am very excited to be part of the Race sequel. I have been offered many sequels but there are only certain films which merit a sequel – Race is one of them. We aim to make Race 2 better than the original. It will be slicker, faster, sexier, more thrilling and upgraded in a much bigger way from Race. We need a very glamorous actress to play the role and Kareena fits the bill best on the glam quotient. We will also be shooting in exotic locations like Barbados and all over the world."
